UTAMED Launches the Javier Imbroda Research Grant Programme, Mobilising Nearly 200 Researchers Across Spain
In its very first edition, UTAMED’s Javier Imbroda Research Grant initiative selected 9 outstanding projects from 28 submitted proposals, bringing together researchers from 14 universities, including international institutions, 5 Andalusian universities, and 12 public universities.
UTAMED’s own research community played a central role, participating in all funded projects and leading three of them, a clear signal of the university’s growing research capacity and ambition.
Building on this strong foundation, UTAMED has already announced a second edition planned for 2027, with investment set to be multiplied tenfold, cementing the programme as a cornerstone of the university’s long-term research and innovation strategy.
