Is there any reason for choosing Python over R?

Both Python and R are open-source programming languages with large libraries of tools and active communities. Python was chosen as it’s generally viewed as a more general-purpose language with a more readable syntax whereas R is generally viewed as more suited for experienced statisticians.

Do you need to be an Expert at the Advanced Excel level to do this course or if I have basic Excel skills will that be ok?

Basic excel skills are fine. There is a pre-course module where you will be able to do an introductory conversion e-learning course called ‘Python for Excel users’.

In the presentation of results stage, will Power BI be used, or what other system/tool will be used?

The course uses Python for analysis and visualization, however, there is a 6-month license to additional tools included where you can enhance your learning in other areas, including Tableau.

How long will the course take to complete?

If you go through all the course content sequentially, we expect the course to take 4 months to complete, depending on your level of familiarity with the course content.
